Founder & Director, BWK GroupSteven Lin is Event Director of the NZ EV & Tech Expo. With a background in business development and event planning, he is leading the development of the Expo as a platform connecting automotive brands, technology companies, industry organisations and the public. His focus is on building strong partnerships, creating commercial opportunities for exhibitors and supporting the growth of electric mobility and emerging technology in New Zealand.

Marketing Manager, Squid GroupLaurence is a heavy weight in the NZ event industry. He has delivered marketing for major national festivals and events across the country, including key activations during the America’s Cup for Auckland Unlimited. With extensive experience working alongside automotive brands and dealerships, Laurence ensures the show reaches a high-intent audience through data-driven campaigns.
Matt Reilly
Operations ManagerMatt oversees the comple logistics and operational deliver of the Expo. He works to ensure the Auckland Showgrounds is optimised for exhibitor success, from floor-plan flow and on-site coordination to the management of live test-drive routes. Working closely with exhibitors and partners, Matt helps deliver a smooth event experience from preparation through to show days.
James Cozens
Business Development ManagerJames has over 10 years of experience in New Zealand’s EV sector, with expertise in industry engagement, event management, sponsorship, exhibitor acquisition, community outreach and EV test-drive programmes. He managed NZ's first International Drive Electric Week, delivering more than 50 events nationwide, and has supported major EV trade shows, conferences and government outreach initiatives. He also helped establish NZ's first EV-focused trade show and developed the “Electric Avenue ” feature at Big Boys Toys.

Dr. Ashwin Jaiswal

Since joining Spark NZ in 2021, he has led major AI and digital transformation initiatives, developing and scaling AI, Agentic AI and data-driven solutions across customer experience, sales, operations, workforce, product and marketing, delivering significant commercial impact.
Ashwin holds a PhD in AI Adoption, has delivered 100+ global keynote presentations, and has received multiple international recognitions, including CIO100 and recognition among New Zealand’s top Innovation and Transformation leaders at the NZ Leadership Awards 2026.
He is also Chairman of the Tech & Innovation Council of INZCCI and has served as Industry Faculty at institutions including IIT Bombay, Symbiosis and MIT University.
